Membership in the E. F. Schumacher Society represents a commitment to support bold, innovative efforts to revitalize local economies. Our members represent the growing number of people who are working to change for the better the way our culture treats common resources, tools of exchange, and the workers that support our society. By becoming a member, you are helping to make possible our exciting programs and provide educational lectures, literature, and seminars to future leaders and visionaries.
The Society's work is supported primarily by contributions
from its members. All donors are members and receive newsletters, announcements
of upcoming events via surface mail, and e-letters.
To become a member
please do one of the following:
Donations can be made to further specific
programs of the organization, to complete renovation of
the Library building through the Society's Capital
Campaign, or to add to the Society's endowment fund
for long-term program support.
The Society is a section 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational
organization, contributions to which are tax deductible.
Due to an unusually low overhead and help provided by capable
and dedicated volunteers, contributions have a maximum impact.
